Embark on a Journey of EMPOWERMENT

Hosted and founded by Marnie Pronger, KiP (Knowledge is Power) Conference is a speaker symposium that serves to empower teenage girls over the age of 16 by offering tools and insight as for what to expect as they prepare for young adulthood.

The concept of the Conference is to create and cultivate an educational experience that includes topics like finance and budgeting, relationships, mental and emotional wellness, personal safety, drugs and alcohol and self-preservation.



Our August Conference is at the FASHION ISLAND HOTEL at 690 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach.

Meet Darleen Santore, known to many as “Coach Dar.” As a Board Certified Occupational Therapist, business executive, author and speaker, she is passionate about helping people break through barriers to achieve their goals. Recently named Senior Fellow of PathNorth - an organization comprised of world leaders and CEOs of Fortune 100 companies, her powerful message continues to reach a global audience.  As a mental and conditioning coach, she blends a knowledge of science, psychology and achievement with her personal passion for life.



Jennifer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the Newport Beach area. She has over 20 years experience in helping adolescents and adults. She teaches the basics of mindfullness and how to implement and focus on practical techniques. Jennifer also touches on common symptoms of depression and anxiety and how to navigate relationships.



Cynthia is a single mother of 4 adult children. She has taught Law, Civics and Careers at the high school level for the last 13 years. A major component of her Careers class involves teaching Financial Literacy; making students aware of how much living a particular lifestyle costs and how to start thinking at a young age how to plan financially to achieve those life goals.



Natalie Kopperud is a retired police officer that specialized in juvenile investigations as a School Resource Officer on all levels of public education. During her years of service, Natalie offered education and guidance to students in areas of personal safety, social media use, and legal matters. In addition to working with students, Natalie assisted the school district by creating plans for campus safety and proactive education regarding school violence.
Natalie and the members of the School Resource Officers Unit were the recipients of the “Unit Excellence Award in 2015” for their proactive work with students, school administrators and youth of the city, receiving Congressional Recognition for their work. Natalie also served as a Public Information Officer for her department, responding to media requests.
Natalie received her education from Scripps College, Claremont, CA, 1989-1993, where she played collegiate level basketball and softball. Natalie currently resides in Rancho Cucamonga, CA with her husband, Ron and sons, Cole and Brady. She enjoys sports photography and camping with family in her spare time.
